Natural skin care during pregnancy

Natural skin care during pregnancy

Change the usual soap to a softening, moisturizing and lubricating product, which contains natural and organic ingredients such as: glycerin, petroleum jelly, shea butter, cocoa butter. Baths should be shorter, but daily. Remember that very hot water favors the dilation of the small vessels in the skin and is not recommended. After bathing, apply emollients in the form of lotions, creams, skin care emulsions. Ideally within 3-5 minutes after the end of the bath. If after bathing, the skin itches, use menthol or polidocanol, i.e. anti-itch substances.

The Achilles heel of every pregnant woman, the stretch marks of the skin, are a challenge for every treating dermatologist. Unfortunately there is no miracle product that treats stretch marks during pregnancy. Apart from the general predisposition, a big role is also played by the sudden weight gain during pregnancy.

Prevention, not treatment, is the best possible solution. From the beginning of pregnancy, use skin moisturizer and even a few times a day.

In the composition, look for tocopherol, that is, vitamin E, allantoin, panthenol, folic acid, shea butter. Oils also work well, especially for damp skin. We recommend natural, organic products specially designed to prevent and treat stretch marks.

During pregnancy, it is recommended to use a sunscreen cream with SPF 50. The safest are natural filters that reflect ultraviolet rays (containing, among others, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide). Azelaic acid is considered safe during pregnancy as it has anti-acne and skin whitening effects. We have selected and tested for you, excellent products with only natural sunscreens. Discoloration that occurs during pregnancy usually disappears within a year of delivery.

Note: Every product recommended by us, you consider to be safe during pregnancy and it means that every raw material, its quantity and concentration has been checked in this regard and therefore approved for sale.
